- Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly. This helps prevent infection and ensures the bandage adheres properly.
- Unwrap the plaster and hold it by the protective strips. Make sure the pad side of the bandage is facing down.
- Peel back the protective strips partially, but don't remove them completely.
- Place the pad directly on the wound.
- Gently pull away the remaining parts of the strips while smoothing down the edges of the bandage to secure it on your skin.
