Accu Chek Instant Strips 50'S

Simple and easy to use blood glucose test strips.

Accu-Chek Instant Strips are specially made to be used with Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose self-testing meters. They are an easy-to-use tool for individuals with diabetes to check their blood sugar levels at home, delivering quick and accurate results to effectively manage their sugar levels.

How to use:

Before you begin:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. Dry them completely with a clean towel.
  • Prepare your lancing device according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Using the Test Strips:

  1. Remove a test strip: Open the vial containing the test strips. The vial is designed to be spill-resistant, so you should be able to remove just one strip at a time. Close the cap tightly after removing the strip to protect the remaining strips.
  2. Insert the strip: Locate the slot on your Accu-Chek Guide meter where the test strip is inserted. The test strip usually has arrows indicating the correct insertion direction. Insert the test strip into the meter according to the arrows.
  3. Wait for the meter: The meter will typically turn on and display a message or symbol indicating it's ready for a test.

Testing your blood sugar:

  1. Perform a finger prick: Use your lancing device to prick your finger according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Apply blood to the strip: Once a blood drop forms, touch the yellow edge of the test strip to the blood drop. The Accu-Chek Guide strips allow for applying blood anywhere along the yellow edge for easier testing.
  3. The meter will read the sample: The meter will analyze the blood sample and display your blood sugar reading on the screen in a few seconds. The exact time may vary depending on your meter model.

After testing:

  • Dispose of the used strip: Follow proper disposal procedures for used test strips. Typically, this involves discarding them in a designated sharps container. Do not reuse test strips.
  • Wash your hands again: Wash your hands with soap and water after handling the used test strip.
